About Us

With over 25 years of experience in the financial services and insurance industry, we bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to managing your assets, and choosing a Medicare Health Insurance plan.

Client Centered

As Licensed Insurance Agents, we help you navigate the sometimes confusing process of enrolling in Original Medicare, and researching appropriate Medicare Supplemental Plans, Medicare Advantage Plans, and Prescription Drug Plans, to coordinate with Original Medicare.  Each year we spend more hours than most professionals educating ourselves about Medicare by passing the required AHIP Exam, which covers the changes in Medicare, Fraud, Waste and Abuse, and obtaining annual required certifications from the insurance carriers that we are contracted with.

Licensed in Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona and Colorado.

Navigating Medicare

Navigating Medicare

Understanding Medicare is easier said than done. You get a big "Medicare & You" handbook in the mail, filled with terms you’ve never heard before, and then the insurance companies fill your mailbox with Medicare solutions.

How are you supposed to read all that and have any idea what to do?

We get it, Medicare can be a little scary.

We get it, Medicare can be a little scary.

You may be used to working for an employer who selects an insurance plan for its employees.  Each year, you go to an annual benefits meeting and sign up for the plan the company has chosen. Then you hit 65, and are overwhelmed by Medicare, and its dozens of plan options. This is further intensified by the pressure to pick a plan or else!

You may be new to Medicare, and it may be your primary insurance. Maybe you are still working, and not even sure if you need Medicare.

You are not alone, Powers Financial and Insurance Group will guide you in navigating the Medicare landscape, enabling you to make well-informed decisions for your particular situation.

At no cost to you, we provide guidance on:

  • Signing up for Original Medicare (Part A and B)
  • Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medi-Gap)
  • Medicare Advantage Plans (Part C)
  • Chronic Special Needs Plans (C-SNP)
  • Dual Special Needs Plans (D-SNP)
  • Prescription Drug Plans (Part D)
  • Vision and Dental Insurance
  • and much more...
